That's why I'm hoping that Polaris expands the XP line with something like a twin 650/700. That will be more than enough power for me. Most of our riding is the slow, technical stuff with an occasional burst to 20 - 25 MPH. That's why the "mushy" front end on the 500 doesn't bother me at all. We are not doing a lot of high speed cornering... if I see it coming, I just SLOW DOWN. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Anyhow, back to the 850 EPS... we need to see some pics! LOL

Robert did polaris send you some gear oil with that new shipment for mine? Hope so,would like to get the diff oil changed out soon.

 

Nothing yet. Its coming on a bulk shipment on pallets from Polaris. I ask my parts guy every day. I also go back in the parts room and check for myself to make sure he didn't miss it.

Tried that already and they can't ship one at a time on those types of products[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

I can ship it to you that way when I get it but Polaris won't ship it to us that way and they won't drop ship from them to you. Has to come to us first.

 

With the aging population, I believe EPS will need to become available in more machines. I too am in my sixties and have a disability. With EPS on my Grizzly, I can ride much longer and enjoy it more than I could with my Polaris 700 Sportsman. I would also have considered a smaller bike if EPS was offered in one at the time.

I do not see it being used in all or even the majority of the bikes due to the loss of "feel of the road" and younger or more healthy riders will not need or want EPS and smaller bikes or sport quads will not benefit from it. Sure glad I have it though.
