Wow, the guys at Dirt Trax gave it a big thumbs up. They almost ALWAYS find a few things they don't like. However, as of yet, they haven't found a thing to complain about, or want changed. Great to hear that they are going to continue to update folks on a long term test ride.

Thanks for the heads up!
Yes they apparently were impressed, and of course I'm not suprised. Give'em time though, they'll see the few minor negatives that there are. No machine is perfect, the XP is dang close though. If I had to point out the most glaring negative it would have to be the tires. I've been thinking about putting them back on for awhile to get a good comparison against the XTRs...just for the heck of it.

I seen that show last week here in Canada.........They really like the larger tires/wheels combo.......It's only a matter of time before the others will follow Polaris again...LOL...(IRS first)..................
They did complain about the foot-wells though.......Do you guys see any problem with the position of your feet and legs? .......Mostly riders over 6 feet tall I think..........Caper.........

Hmm didn't notice them complain about the foot wells. I'm not that tall, but I can't see the footwells being an issue for anyone. I have a buddy who is well over 6ft and is a BIIIIG guy,he had no complaints about the footwells. The bigger guys seem to mention the narrow seat more than anything. And if the bigger guys who complain are told to sit back on the seat(where it is wide) they all of a sudden like it.
What did they not like about the footwells..the major change is width, not front to back position.

Sorry it was the Canada ATV "Trail Rider Magazine" here in Canada that talked about the Footwells,Not Dirt Trax T.V.
They said there is only about a 1/2 inch of threads protruding up for the rider to have grip on when applying pressure. The riders feet are free to slide ....The guy doing the testing likes true and real foot-pegs for the rider to be able to directly place there weight placement on the Quad......
I guess they needed something to complain about....LOL.....Caper........
