Default Redneck ATV fixes

Yea I know what you mean Mrprpane, I attached my
rack tube type MAD DOG gun grips to my KOLPIN
bucket cargo carrier. Just used long lag bolts thru
the square whole of the back accessory spot (Meant
for Kolpink Gun Grips, no way was I going to buy another
just for the principal of it) and fastened with the same
u-bolt plate mount meant for tube racks.

The most redneck thing I did involving a quad was Redneck Skiing last summer. My buddy has a homemade drag for his driveway in the woods but it needs a lot of weight on it to do a good job. Hey, I weigh a lot! I hooked two tiedown straps end to end to make reigns to hold onto and stood on an old plywood sign on the drag. My buddy pulled me behind his Griz with his bro-in-law sitting on the front rack to keep all 4 wheels on the ground. I tried it sitting down for the first pass but it dumped a bunch of dirt in my crack, so I stood up and skied up and down the driveway. We leveled off the hills and pot holes, and after the finishing touch without me on the drag it looked better than the time we rented a Bobcat.

Hey JF, that reminds me of that matress skiing done in a similar fashion
done on Country Fried videos (Bill E), looks dangerous though!

The only safety equipment we used was beer goggles. But in my case it was Everclear or Jim Beam, not beer.

Question, what Gen. number accessories will still fit
the 06-08 Sportsmans? A little confusing when you
browse polaris on-line catalog, looks like a lot of
Gen VI and some Gen IV would fit, like you said
Mech., bumpers, skid plates etc.

Thanks for the info.

I came up with another redneck idea. Maybe I can duct tape my Stihl leaf blower to the air intake of my Sportsman 500 and have it work like a supercharger. It blows 447 cubic feet of air per minute at 150 mph. Who needs a turbo when you have a BLOWER?
