Thanks stendori. It's been really cool. I wish I would have done it years ago. It's slowed down some lately but that is expected this time of year. I've got some dealers that are working with me(not the one I worked at for 15 years either) and cut me a little slack on parts, etc. It's getting smoother as time goes on. I've got customers that want to bring in stuff or have me go get it so I'm not standing around doing nothing. It's not swamped like summer but we'll get by.

Sorry if this was mentioned before but what type of business did you open? And where are you located?

I worked at the Polaris delership in town for 15 years until I got tired of the way they did things. there's a lot of good guys there, just didn't agree with the way things got handled. So, I started my own shop. I work on a variety of different things. Atv's, bikes, lawn mowers, space heaters, pressure washers, golf carts, etc. A lot of my customers followed me and I am picking up new ones as well. It's a small town where everyone knows each other and I've been doing this sort of thing for almost 20 years. I'm located in Northeastern Colorado.

Also, if I should happen to not make it on my own, at least I gave it a shot. I'd hate to say 10 years from now"What if I would have tried it" I'm glad I did it and worst case scenario, I get a job doing something else. It was time for a change. I just hope I can continue to do what I love to do.

Hey 94Harley I have a question for you if you don't mind. I have a briggs & stratton pressure washer I bought a Lowes. I havent had any problems with it so far and I've had it for about 4 years now. I have well water with a conditioning system but the water is still high in iron. What could I do to this thing as far as maintenance goes. I've never done anything to it other than add gas and change the oil. Are there any internal parts I should check, clean, replace every so often? Not talking about the motor just the parts that deal with the water. I really like this thing and want to keep it in tip top shape. Thanks for any advice you could offer.

What part of northeastern Colorado are you from? I'm in Fort Morgan.
