I have an 07 700 and I have had no problems, it has plenty of power for doing just about anything you could want it to do
It also has automatic 4 wheel drive, unlike your grizz's

A tree fell on it? During a hurricane? I hope you give it a good going-over before buying! :-P

But, an '07 700 for $2500 bucks? Needs some repairs but if it works that's a pretty good buy. Our local polaris dealer said they'd give me $2500 trade-in for my '98 500 if you want to compare value. Can hardly go wrong with a used Sportsman.

automatic belt driven, you only shift from neutral to high, low, or reverse
you put it in 4 wheeldrive, and in a 1/5 of a turn all fours will be spinnin
yes, it would outpull your grizzly, for 1 main reason, weight
