plow pressure
Pressure pushing back on the blade is going to be a lot.
Running into Snow banks exerts bunches of pressure but that may be even across the blade.
With an angled blade you will exert more pressure on that center pivot point.
i.e. 60" blade if you exert 100 lbs of force at the forward edge only then that is multipled to approximately 250lbs of force at the center pivot point.
It seems that most of the remote pivots I have looked over have a locking system similar to the existing blade lock or they manipulate the blade lock to unlock it, move the blade and then lock it into the appropriate angle point.
That puts the holding force back on the blade mechanics rather than the remote tilt cable/motor.
hth.
