Maybe the shifter linkage needs adjusting.

That is not it. I was shifting it at the transmission. Do you need to engage or disengage something first

step on the rear footbrake THEN shift it- should go into gear. I had a 04 and that is how it went into high and park.

did you get it to shift? If not then the switch(not sure what it is) from the rear brake pedal on the floor board must need adjusting. They will not shift into high without stepping on the rear brake.

Jerry, are you able to get it into park? Mine is the same way, foot brake needs to be pushed for engaging into park and high.

Once again you guys figured it out, the foot brake was not connecked to the tranny (thing, that gets pulleddown when you step on the brake.

Works well now THANK YOU
