Sweet wheels. Those rack ext. where did you get those? How much did you drop on them? I havent seen them like that..Those look a lot better than the ones I was looking at on the Pure Polaris site.

Looks awesome!! Almost the same setup i have, but I opted for the ss108's. Can't wait for the ground to thaw and the mud to come! But regardless they hook up way better in the snow than stockers!
Enjoy

Without a doubt those are the BEST wheels I have ever seen for an ATV.
What brand/model are they?</end quote></div>

Yes HO, that is what I meant. Its more of a general
question what are the MORE advantages of running
14" rims opposed to 12"? So when I buy mine in the
future (hope this year) I can decide!

12 inch rims with larger tires offer more floatation and are great if you do a lot of mudding. 14 inch rim means that you will have less side wall for the same size tire, so your handling will improve. If you do a lot of mudding or rock crawling I would opt for the 12 inch rim. But if you mainly do trail riding with a bit of mudding etc. then 14 inch rim will provide you better handling generally speaking.

You wouldn't believe how long it took for me to get that answer. Thanks for the great explaination! I assume running the 12" with MORE sidewall makes you
more likely to get more sidewall punctures?

I think that has a lot to do with the make and quality of the tire. If you have a tire with a lot of lugs going down the side wall, there is less chance of a puncture, regardless of the size of the tire.
