Those waiting for XP's
#1
I have seen a few of people wondering about their XP's and when they will show up.
Polaris is on its annual Holiday Shutdown. From dec 19 to jan 19. So if yours hasn't been produced yet, I wouldn't hold your breath. And, I think the focus is on the sleds now, I'm not so sure that they are even going to fireup the ATV assembly lines untill spring due to the fact that they laid all those workers off untill then.
So don't let your dealer bullshit you when you ask him whats the hold up.

Sounds like the dealerships and/or Polaris company should do something extra for their customers!
Extra= BLANK
You fill in the blank (money off, extended warrenty, billet shifter **** if none already, etc.)

Yeah I've been in three different dealers lately and all had XPs. One of them had 6 on the floor. both 850s and 550s. Sweet rides for sure.

A dealer orders its ATV's in late spring and early summer. If a customer orders one, that order gets put in line, (or its like taking a number at the bakery). If your number hasn't been produced yet and the ATV assembly line is shut down, you won't get your ATV untill they start it up again, which won't be until spring sometime, because thats when most of the dealer orders come in for them.
A dealers stock is that, stock, they can't even get anymore of them because the production season is over untill spring.

Glad I got mine when I did. As the word gets out about the new XP's, more will be wanting them and the dealers will have a hard time moving the left over 2008 Sportsmans. Then if all the 2009 XP's get sold before they can resume production, It will be hard to get one before the spring riding season. You should be able to get a good deal on a 2008 Sportsman. A friend has an 2008, he drove mine now he wants the new XP. May just have to buy a XP, put it up and wait till spring and sell on eBay for a profit. XP's might be as hot as the Wii has been on eBay.

You and your friend need to check in on the How Many XP's Thread
Best of luck to both of you. I guess by now you already know how good the XP is
Don't forget to put up some pictures also.
