Default Use hand brake and motor shuts off

I own a 2005 Polaris 700 EFI. I have been using my Polaris to plow snow here in Wisconsin. Anyway, when I use the hand brake the motor shuts off. I am not sure if the problem is something with the electronic throttle control or simply adjusting the throttle cable or some type of sensor. I have not tried to cure the problem yet. Has anyone heard of this problem? If so, how was the problem solved?

Thanks

do they apply a lot of salt where you plow?? If so might be corroded wires, also might be hit run stop switch ,mine was corroded from not using it and only took a slight bump with hand and would shut off I sprayed every switch down with wd 40 and fixed this. They use tons of salt where I plow so a power wash and soak down with wd happens every time I plow!!!!
