OK, I built a tool and got the Ball Joints out.

But, I still can't seem to get the races out of the strut without some serios hammering, which I am trying to avoid.

Any help out there? Do O need a special tool and a press??

Pound them out with a hammer and punch. Just be carefull with the coil and sleeve. Don't rest the strut on it while hammering the bearings out or putting the new ones back in.
