Default Lock N Ride Issues

I just purchased a lock n ride cargo box for my 05 800 and can not get the one lock to hold either its to tight and wont lock just pops back up or is too loose and doesnt do anything. I thought i had it figured out but 2 mins after riding it poped up and had the box bouncing around. Anyone else have this problem?

Easy fix.. I've been working on those today.. I just modified a rear box for mine.

Take a half inch wrench and tighten the nut at the end of the expansion anchor. Dont tighten too tight or it wont latch. Tighten as needed..

I tried that, the one side works fine but the other side does not. I tried locking it in and adjusting the mounting bracket still nothing, tried using ty wraps to hold it down that didnt work, Tried using a pin to hold it in place and the lever would still lift up.

Yeah the washer is there, both locks are assembled the same the hole that they lock in are not broken. Has anyone tried using a lock to actually lock the box in place? will that stop the lever from lifting up?

Default Lock N Ride Issues

I recently just bought the Rear Cargo box (L&R) for my SP800. And similar issues. Same thing the one side worked perfectly and the other side would not properly seat. What I did finally after what you all mentioned here was go to the side that works perfectly loosed the bracket (not the anchor) it needs to slide over a bit, keep it loose, go back to the other (stubborn) side and loosen that bracket and then adjust both SIDES to wear you can FULLY lock down both anchors fully SEATED, then tighten the both brackets.

Hope it helps!
