Default OIL CHANGE

All,

This thread is just a sanity check for me as I like to read all the documentation in my users and repair guides and the paper that came with the Oil Change kit.

So with this setup the only thing required is just the emptying of the oil from beneath the MOTOR (drain plug)? Then change out the filter? (Less steps than SP450 carb. models)

On my SP450, you had to empty the drain plug from MOTOR, and OIL reservoir (2 places), then change out filter, add new OIL and then PINCH the VACUUM TUBE while it ran first for 15seconds (I think?). As well as first replacing this small coin size screen filter on the VACUUM connector (part name?), man that was a beast to remove too.

If these are all the new benefits of running EFI, I can dig it!

Thanks,

R'

It's not actually a benefit to EFI it's just the difference between dry sump(single cylinders) and wet sump(twin cylinders).
