wont shift into high gear 2005 700 polaris

Hello! I have a 2005 polaris 700 4wheeler with 4wd and it wont shift into hi gear. All other gears work fine. I have tried hi gear in both 2wd and 4wd and it wont shift to hi in either. Can anybody help? Thank you!

do you mean it the shifter itself wont let you get past low or the shifter moves into the correct position but the wheels dont spin when you try to go? does it make any noises when you try to shift it? any problems at all with other gears? 4wd act funny sometimes?
when you try to get somebody to daignose something over the net you gotta give as much info as you know about it. its kinda like somebody coming on and saying "OMG MY WHEELER WONT START SUMBUDY TELL ME WHAT IS WRONG!!!" dont really have any idea where to start giving you clues to. not trying to be a smart a$$ but just need some more clarification.

the lever will not move past low. all linkage is fine. No noises. all other gears are fine. 4wd acts normal.

Make sure spring is hooked up to foot brake and trans lockout plug. When brake applied it pulls down lockout and allows you to shift into hi range and also park. Only used a couple years!
