Polaris or Warn winch
My dealer hasn't had any of the Polaris winches with a 2008 and later build date returned for any reason. They had 25+ returned with 2006 and 2007 build dates. He said that he has had 3 of the Warn 4000lb winches on the side x sides returned in the last couple of months. 2 had brake issues and 1 had a bad contacter. I belive the Polaris winch quality has improved. All mfg. have their quality issues, including Warn.

fyi... i found and ordered on ebay 50 feet of that synthetic cable.. its 7700 pounds marine grade... will replace cable on any and all atv-utv winches... its venom brand or somthing ... 35.00 and 9.00 shipping and handleing...
thought you guys might wanna know.. alotta people are trying to get that synthetic stuff

Moto Alliance sells Viper products - Venom is a different company ran by former Viper employee's. Moto Alliane is a good company to deal with.

yea i was on there site looking around... and 44.00 total is better that 90.00 without shipping n handling... imo... the venom rope seems to be pretty sturdy... i ordered one... i'll let ya'll know

I just ordered one as well. My steel cable on polaris winch broke 3 times this winter plowing. I will see how this one holds up. Cant beat the price. ....Thanks harleyowner!
