Default 95 Magnum electrical problem

I Have a 95 Polaris 425 Magnum 4x4, I (very stupidly) lent it out to my friend for a hunting trip, I knew the Battery was allready done, you hade to jump it every time to start it. Anyway upon getting it back I put a new battery in and now I can start it, but I have no other electric, no lights, no dash lights, nothing. I can't find any fuses, or anything like that.
I do not have a service manual, I bought it like 4th hand!! Any help is appreciated.
DAN

replace the bulbs in the lights. running with no/bad battery wrecks havoc on bulbs. instead of a steady 12.5v going through the wires its 13.5-15v. bulbs cant handle the heat.

Ditto on burned out bulbs, they dont like the voltage it puts out without a battery. You can get the headlight bulbs at the parts house take one out and take it with you, I believe its a GE 886.

I believe you guys are correct. I have no problem replacing the Tail light, and I'm sure I won't have a problem with the Headlights, (there are 3, I guess the 2 that are lower, are not stock, or maybe they are.) The little dash lights seem a bit harder to get to, maybe I don't really need them. I appreciate your guys help, Thanx DAN

PS upon checking, with the key on, I do get 12 volts to the tail light socket, and also the aux socket. so I guess this is most Def. the problem.

you will need to get the AWD light fixed for 4x4 to work.

Seriously, Are you telling me that they designed it so that the light bulb completes the circiut to engage the AWD???!!! That is an insane design, Thats like making it that the reverse light would have to be on for reverse to work!!! This is so frustrating. Never again will I lend out my quad, I was just trying to be a nice guy!!!
Thanx for the info though!!!
