Welp took the 08 500 efi out yesterday for my 2nd run
and my buddies said it was time to Crisin it ! bottom line IS
i was in water up to the fuel tank and still running good but when we stopped to rest the bikes she would not start without giving it some throttle any ideas what might be wrong ? also i had to pull start at times because battery seemed dead
and then would work again

Well, if you haven't already, I would open the air filter box and make sure it's clean and dry. You probably got some water into the intake via the snorkel... at least a few splashes if not "waves". lol. Also check the oil - check the dipstick a couple times and see if there is any water in it... you'll either see water, or whitish foam. I might also peak in the clutch cover, but that wouldn't affect engine running/idling. If both the air intake and oil looks ok (or after you change/fix both), I would start the engine and run it for a good 30 minutes - idea being to get the engine warm and evaporate any water that is in places it shouldn't be. My Sp500 doesn't like to idle for a while after getting submerged... just start it and give it some gas to keep her running while it dries out.

put your bike in the dianostic mode and check the voltage of the battery off and running. it should be at least a good 12.5 or better off and running w/ it reved up would be pushing 14 volts. if not there is an issue there.
