Default 96 Trailblazer carb hoses

I have a 96 trailblazer and the carb has 3 little hoses coming out of it not counting the fuel line coming in. 2 of which go together at a T and than into what looks like a little fuel filter but says VAC on it. do these little hoses hook up to anything because a wouldn't think they would be all over-flows. I wonder this because the carb is lettin the gas just run into the engine to where it fills the case clear up. It does this when it sits in the garage. Than it won't start of coarse because its flooded. Can anyone help me please?

your hoses are fine..you need to give the carb and bath paying special attention to the float valve/pin assembly. could be wore, should not have any irregularities in the cone shape of the rubber tip.
that little filter you see is a one way check valve. lets gas come out but water cant get in

Ok thanks. I've takin it apart and cleaned it twice now. the floats looked fine and functioned fine but the rubber tip on the pin did look a lil odd to me. I'll pull it back apart and double check everything again.
