Ok here's the deal-e-o... I have a 2004 Polaris Sportsman 500 H.O. Last week I put on new tiers, clutch kit, K&N filter. Took it out this weekend and did some awesome mudding, everything worked & preformed great. I just felt like I was missing one more thing... oh yeah, exhaust! I need some help picking an exhaust, I don't wanna say money is not an issue, b/c money is always an issue, but on the other hand, I am ready for some kick *** exhaust. The only thing is I don't want it to be stupid loud, don't get me wrong, I want it to be louder than my stock exhaust and I want it to be deep, but I don't want people to hear me from 5 miles away either. Also, there aren't to many exhaust kits I could find for my year and model, slip on or otherwise. I was really considering Supertrapp Mudslinger and still might be; I even ordered one from JC Motors, but they sent me an e-mal back saying they were out of stock. I know Supertrapp's website still says that they have 10 in stock (don't everyone go freaking buy one now), but they are like $120 more than I was going to pay at JC Motors. But like I said, I still might get it... just seems like a lot for a slip-on exhaust. Now here's something interesting... please someone let me know if they know anything more about the mudslinger complete exhaust kit that is seen here:

I know that Supertrapp also makes the IDSX series for my atv. Lets see there's Big Gun complete exhaust kit, which I like b/c I would really like a complete kit, with head pipe and all. I know that Pro Circuit also makes one for my atv, but I've heard that they are louder than hell. uuummm... what else, oh yeah, Muzzy's makes one (don't really know that much about them). I've also heard a lot about white brothers exhaust kits... please someone give me a freaking link to their site, I have searched and searched, and can not find a White Brother's official web site; for that matter I don't even know if they make one for me. I couldn't find one from FMF or HMF for my atv. So, any suggestions or links to sites would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help and sorry for the long post.

 

I have a big gun full system, and I really like it, it is a little louder than stock, but has that deep purrr,
IMO you want be getting much for gains with just a slip on, I did notice some acceleration gains on mine
I got mine off ebay for only $250 shipped, because it had a little wrinkle in the sticker, and I called Big Gun to see how much a new one was, and they just sent me one for free

So there are lots of deals out there, but IMO I think that an atv place would be cheaper than that, check out motosport.com, rockymountain atv.com, and there are tons of others
