easy change then. what kind? when i orginaly got my wheeler i had the dealer change the stock 489 steel rims to the pxt alum rims. i like the alum rims and tires but i noticed the pxt seem to be chipping rubber off them. plus im kinda glad iv got 2 sets. steel/489s winter, alum/pxt summer. i just put my alum rims on last week.

I will be doing the same, there not a big selection of tires for 10" rim as there once was. Will go to Aluminum rims as well.
Not to interested in these 14" rims that are out now, because there is less rubber between the rocks and the rim, and the rims dent easy enough as is.

If you have steel rims make sure you replace the studs cause the aluminum rims are thicker and you wont have much thread to hold on to, you can get them at your dealer. I did this with my 500 and it made a big differance, they are around a 1/4" longer.

Good point. Had to do the same when I changed the steel rims out with aluminum ones. It's an easy task, just pound out the old stud bolts and replace with the new, longer ones.
