Frankly, I'm more interested in the black plastic than the quad itself. What a joke! All show and no go. Typical Polaris.....

 

It's just a dressed up Scram 400 2x4, I don't think it even has any engine mods, all cosmetic. I do want the black plastic though.

 

I almost positive that it is a 500 not a 400.

There might be better pics somewhere else but at least this shows the X. I to will be anxious to see if Polaris offers the black plastic, someone will eventually need to replace some pieces.

 

I was at my dealer tonite and saw the promo pics of the scram x Its pretty cool looking but the only changes are the plastic color and the rims are polished and it has a polished bumper, It is a 500 and he said the list was $5749.00. He said he had 4 on order but polaris wouldnt guarntee he would get any?? He also said there were no engine mods at all. Supposedly they are only making them for 30 days and thats it but he was pretty sure they would sell the black plastic at the dealer level in a few months, That and some douglass rims and the yellow graphic kit it has and you will have a X for about $400 or so!!

 

Yeah man, that plastic looks good. I always wanted black for my Scrambler 400 but they didn't have it back in '96. Now they have it but my old Scrambler's long gone.

 

I also have talked to my dealer about the new quad. He said they would be in, on the first part of May. I have my name on one of they. Now only if my wife will give me permission to get it. Here is a link for an artical on the 3 new quads Polaris is making. My son wants the yellow plastic for his 325.
