XP abuse

I've been avoiding thinking about that answer. Will never know. You'd have to think anybody with a half a brain would see "L" or "H" they would choose L. Giving them too much credit, I know.

Sorry, but that is pretty funny....if you're out looking in.

That's a good point. It's not hard to mess up the big carbide blades on a chipper. Picture a solid steel drum with 2-3 drum length blades bolted to it and you get what it looks like. Like a power planer that you use to take down a board. Just a lot bigger. Just takes a couple rocks that a tree grew around to dull them. They tried to get my buddy to pay for new blades when he complained to them that it wasn't chipping cleanly (was not supposed to be a shredder). We struggled with the machine all day long. It was probably the guy before us who abused it.

It was chipping really nice on my way out to return it too. They didn't check when I returned it. -But I hear ya Moose, those chipper are easily damaged.

I get the same kind of thing when I hire people to run my mowers. They have no idea that the brake is on cause they have no expirience running hydros. What I can't forgive though, when these guys think the blades are going when the mower is running and the drive around for an hour not cutting a blade of grass and think they are done with the lawn when all they did was leave tracks in it. GRRRRR.

Wow!!! Not to sound harsh but umm if it was my xp i wld not only take the key but I wld have never left the wheeler out of my site!!! Trust NO ONE!!! And the fact that you left the key in the event that he has to move it, You shld have gave him a fast leason on HOW to move it if he needed to! Kinda bad dumb move for both of ya! And ya dont feel bad for going off on him! I wld have told him what he did and made him pay for a belt just incase!

Yah, I know. Won't happen again that's for sure.
I looked them both in the eye and asked that they let me move the machine. Figured they'd understand that simple request. The chipper was so loud and the chainsaws were wailing away.....people were moving around, it was just too chaotic to give lessons. I saw the whole thing happening in my mind's eye. Should have trusted my instincts.
I checked my belt and brakes are all fine. We're a pretty close knit little community so it's hard to be overly harsh with folks. --Even though I wanted to club him with a bat.

makes you wonder if you should of even left him/them alone with the chipper, that much brains can be dangerous when theres a big powerful machines around, I guess with the XP there I should say two big powerful machines LOL!, sometimes you almost want to do it all yourself, and have peace of mind that no one got hurt and nothing was damaged or broken

Let's all just stop posting any negative experiences..all of out posts are silly and aren't worth the time required to post them. We worry too much about things that won't matter in the years to come. I mean if we post a thread blowing off a little steam it should be about something that happened that is truly tramatic and life altering..then it is worthy of posting about.
OK..that is my sarcasm for the day
