Default XP's a DEEPER look inside

XP owners,

I would be interested in seeing some pics UPCLOSE of the front cargo
(add-on) storage box. Could you snap a pic of the inside and illustrate
the depthness? My cuz checked out the new XPs about a month ago
and he claims its "deeper" for more storage Vs. older Sportsmans.

While you are at it, any of you have the L&R rear cargo box too (add-on)? May I
request the same for that box? It would so seem that to fit the smaller
rear rack dims on the new XPs that the rear storage box is smaller than
the older Sportsmans lock&ride rear cargo box? But its hard to tell
Somtimes the pics on the Polaris web site etc. just doesn't tell the whole story!

Thanks much!

R'

Default Box

I saw one at the dealer and it looks to be less storage space than the front boxes on the SP's. Might want to look in to a rear storage box and pick up the rotopax fuel cells for the front(nice for added weight).

Just got my front and rear storage. Grabbed some shots......Threw some random crap in there so you get an idea of scale. The rear box is big enough to hold my helmet and fully close, along with a lot more space on the sides. The front is pretty nice, maybe not at big as an standard Sportsman box, but still very much worth the money. Well built with quality materials. Now that I have one, the front rack is mandatory IMO.

NICE PICS FunRide! Actually from my reading and watching the XP intro vids, they mention that the front cargo box on the new XPs have 10% more capacity. May not seem like alot more but hey thats a few more bungie cords, or a rolled up shirt or a few more tools maybe?

I like the rear box design. SWEET! It looks well made and I like the curve into it so if yo don't have any back rest cushion at least the box fits the back from what I see. - IMO

May I ask what the prices are on the front and rear boxes compared to the former L&R boxes?

Thanks,

R'

I paid 179 for the front and 85 for the rear at a dealership liquidation auction. The rear was 219 at my dealer.

Hey R, you can see how the rear rack extender fits in my album. The rear rack ext is a must have for keeping stuff on the rack.
