regular gas versus premium gas fuel for your atv

E-85 is 85% Ethanol and NO it can not be used in an ATV.

Just wanted to be quick about saying that. Right now as the law states anything above 10% is labeled for flex fuel vehicles only. Chuck, Being from MN, as am I originally, If you are not buying premium then you are buying a 10% blend.

Sweet the new software is auto censor. Free speech Hmmmm. Any way the difference is the E-85 would be clear and gas would be amber. You can't use it in a n ATV cause ATV's are designed to the 30% max. To burn higher percentages fuel volume, timing, and compression rations need to be done. The reason why passenger cars don't get better mileage on E- 85 is because they are designed for using a majority of gas. If they upped the compression to burn E 85 effieciently the pump gas would make your car spit and sputter. E85 is 110 octane in a low compression ratio small engine it would predetonate. This is the condition when the combustion happenes during compression stroke, not good.
