I bought the full skid plate set from Ricochet for my xp850. Everything fit great except the floor boards which are a little different pre March 2009 build. Mind was built in December of 08. They look great..and fit GREAT. Definitely worth 500 bucks. 10,000 dollar quad.. spend the $ and protect it! The stock skid plates are plastic and worthless IMO. Great for protecting your quad against Grass. And I have to vent...You spend this much on a quad, they can't put a decent set of skid plates on it..and also put a decent set of tires on the quad? I put some ITP rims (212's) With some Big Horn 2.0's It looks mean...very happy!

Lets see a front and rear view with the a-arm guards. I have been considering these but wanted something black to hide on the camo.

I'd like to know if anybody finds the side rails that run from the floor boards up to the rear and along the fenders. Forgot what the real name is for these. Sure would be nice to have for bush whackin'.

They called them body-guard side fenders I believe.

From what I know they don't make the body gaurds for the XP's yet. Polaris has their dealer show coming up in a month, they will release the new models, new accessories, and all on their website by the end of june. They finally make metal rack extenders instead of those cheesy plastic ones, so I'm hoping to see the body gaurds soon too!

We'll take 2 sets.

The Mrs. is trying to negotiate on a new 850 after riding mine. It only a matter of time before she pulls the trigger.

As for the skids and a-arms I think I am probably just going to start with the richochet a-arm guards..... pondering the footwell protectors. I don't think I will need the skids, would make a pain to clean. I already assume I would have to remove the a-arm guards in the winter for my tracks.

I use a plow on my 850 in the winter, does anyone know if the center body plates would have to be removed to put the plow mount on?

Yes, you can only mount the plate to the frame, and if you can't attach the plate, there's no plow.

Well I bit the bullet and ordered a complete set or Ricochets for my 850. I opted for the anodized black vs standard aluminum. I considered the Olive drab but everything else is black on the lower part of the machine. I should hopefully recieve them by the middle of next week. Mike was a pleasure to work with on the phone.

I found some "nerf bars" floor board protecters on ebay, any one use them? I want some good protection for the foot wells since I go over rocks and such that just bend and screw up the foot wells. I'd like more along the lines of rock sliders/rocker sliders like in the 4x4 truck world, they stick out a little farther then the rocker panel so you could piviot or hit it from the side and still no damage
