really? dont you think that would break..
and also about the roller fairlead...
with syntec rope i would not recommend the roller.. wether it rolls on a roller or slides on polished aluminum... i think it would be about the same..

2 inch thick wall pvc pipe.. i also bought two washers that i put on top of the spacer.. the same ones that is under the springs right now.. so i have one on top and one on bottom.. painted it black to match the bike.. i think i have about ten dollors in it because my wife bought a five dollor can of paint.. cheap and easy.. oh i almost forgot.. i added a 1 inch couplying inside the strut under the shock (sch 80).. so it would not bottom out.. i had to sand it just a hair for it to fit..

not going to do anything in the back for now.. my shocks are turned up half way right now and it is sitting almost level.. going to go two more turns which will be all the way up and then it should sit level even with me on it..

Mike,
You hit the nail on the head. When you have the gorilla axles from Highlifter, that is what you need in all the upgrades or you risk breakage with the UNDO stress is what I am finding out! I want to raise my rear to compensate for the front 2" lift I have (Polaris HD springs) to better center my gravity. But the Gorilla axles are pretty pricey! That is my next plan of action though! I hope to get my bike this week (been in the repair shop for like almost 2 months now).
Chuck, following your mod for the rotopax mounts. I did a similar thing, I hope to post up some pics soon!
Cheers,

first... michael... your shocks on yours should be somthing like mine on my 99 right? i should be able to turn them up too??
and rtick... i have been talking to a guy on highlifter that still has 2 stock shocks after doing a 2 inch lift... he is replacing them as they go out... and its been like a couple years since the lift.. he said that gorrilla axles are only 30$ more than a new stock one.. so he is obviously gonna go with the better axle.. i think i will do the same.. replace them as they go out... hopfully i can at least get the rest of the summer outta them... but then again i gotta get it done first.. lol
