Default Electrical Problems 800EFI

My 2007 Sportsman 800 up and died today. Was running fine. Went to plug in a small portable air compressor to the 12v connection. When I did, the machine quit. No electrical at all. No lights, no display, nothing. Tried connecting and reconnecting the battery -- no luck. Battery has a good charge on it. Fuse appears intact. All connections appear to be solid.

Suggestions?

if your not getting any power, check the fuseable link, pull apart the pod to see if power is coming to the switch. make sure the kill switch on the handle bar isnt on as well. welcome to the forum

How do I check the fuse link? Is there a fuse box my the ECU? The electric diagram in the service manual says there is a fuse box, but for the life of me, I can't find it (or recognize it if I'm looking at it).

Did you check the fuses in the front box under the removable panel?

Got it. Problem was one of the main fuses. For reference, the fuse box is not located behind the access panel just under the pod. That's the location of the ECM. Instead, the fuse box (at least on mine) is located under a small access panel inside the front storage compartment.
