Default Fluid stuff

Ok so we went riding Saturday and the AWD was kinda working at first and went to not working at all and the right side lockng in at will. I got her home and cleaned up and drained the fluid in the front diff. The question is what color should the fuid be? I have not changed it before and I am realizing now that i should have been. The fluid that come out is black and it was dirty, no water or chunks of metal or anything just black and thin. Throw me some info guys, i know ya got it!

Will be a little dark if havent changed in a while! As long as it doesnt look milky or excess pieces of metal on drain plug! Some particles are normal

It has about 500 miles on it and about 80 hours. I hope this solves my problem, how likely is it that it will?

Since I am on the subject what intervals are yall changing your fluids at. I am about to change all the fluids even the oil i guess. It looks good still but i might as well get it all at once so i don't have to worry about it.

It depends on how much you ride, but I usually change both diffs at least once a year, and the engine oil about 3 times

What bike do you have, I may have the service manual I can send you

The ADC is what has made it so dark. Theres a clutch plate in the front end that does the engine breaking. Makes the fluid very dirty.
