I have a riding partner same thing the mags raved about the Recon he bought one hates it! he got off it one day and asked for a ride home, we made him drive it back he wife would have killed him if he left it there. He is trading it in this spring. I have never driven a 250ex but i bet it will be a nice machine. Honda usually wins in the mag articles they always have. That is why I do not read them.

Have you ever watch a dog show? The dog is not that important!A handler is!The name counts.How about figure ice skating? Miss America pageant?.... The name wins. Connections, higher interest....Etc...
Y any / man judged/ shootout be different? They present the facts and YOU make a judgement. Their conclusion is not important/at least not for me/. I need the facts, thats all. Leave a judgement for me.

I am really glad that there are all the brands and quads too choose from.The fact that we have choices is great. I just think it is funny that honda makes the best quad in every catagory that ever was. When you read the shoot outs you can feel the bias from the text. Even if another brand wins you can feel how they feel bad about not giving the win to the honda, and thats what I don't like.I just think that for the money we spend they would give us unbias opinions.
