I was told that I could check to see if my oil injector on my 97 Sport 400L was working by letting the quad idle and then by opening the oil injector all the way so it was like it was at wide open throttle (WOT) and it should pump out a lot of smoke. I just can't figure out how to move the injector cable to the WOT position without opening the carb too. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Chris

M249SAW, Just follow your cable down to the bottom left of your motor behind your belt cover. There you will see a cover just below where the cable goes in. Remove the cover and you will see the lever you are looking for.

Another way is let the bike idle for 5 min and if the motor does not lock itself up tight, the oil injector is still working.
