I see you are testing the Grims now. These have been my favorite tire to date. I have tested them for about 2200 miles so far and love them. This show how little they wear. The bottom tire has 2200 miles on it and the top one is brand new! I have run them in WI, MI, SD, CO, KY & AR. They are by far the best tire on the market. The 2nd IMO is the Black Diamond XTR's.

To me the Grim Reapers are better snow tires which means they would probably do better in deep sloppy mud too.
The Grim Reapers however lack lateral control and they are not as quick in the steering to me as the Black Diamond XTRs. They also slide downward while transversing steep side hills.
If you're on the trails and pushing your ATV hard I will take the XTRs.
I have yet to find a tire that does everything good. I need two sets of tires; one for the winter and one for the summer.

Well I'm slowly getting this thing dressed up the way I want it, still need tires, not sure what to get, in the summer it won't be used on much other than gravel roads at the lake and a little sand at the boat launch, I would like a realy good snow tire as in the winter I am always pushing snow, not so much this winter but we finally got some here now so I dug the sleds out of the back yard and brought them to the garage to get them fired up, had to plow a road through the field about 1/4 mile first to get the trailer out, a grader made about a 6 ft high bank at the only point that I could get out of the field and in a few mins I had a nice 10 ft opening to get through, not sure how I would have got the trailer out without the quad, this has been the best purchase I've ever made as far as having a toy that will also do some heavy work for you in no time, leaning towards the BD's or the grim reapers I think.
I will be taking the big windshild off for summer, it looks goofy but if you lived here you would understand it's been -35 and -45 with the wind here for the last week, start driving in that and you freeze real quick, thank god for hand warmers and a full face snowmobile helmet, lol.
