This is my 2000 DS650, Upgraded to a 05 DS720, with almost all the trimmings. I have the Black, and Orange X Baja, with the DWT beadlock two tone all Black with Orange lips. AC racing Black lable Nerfbars, and front Bumper, also AC 6 pack rack, with AC racing full skids, eccept A-Arm skids. I have Ron Woods Racing Stage 2 with all the upgrades, and modes. I have JE piston bored too a 105mm with full Port, and Polished heads. Iv'e gone through a bit of drama here, and there, but its a very reliable toy. I still would have Loved a Honda TRX450r, because I like track life. I guess thats going to be my next adventure.

Rusty how are those tracks in deep snow and on side hills? How much taller is the quad, and what kind of speed can you do? ANy major differences from riding on wheels?

I live in the Tahoe area and after getting denied twice in the last few weeks by snow blocked trails, I'll admit I'm jealous.

Tracks are basically unstoppable because they provide so much flotation, 4" or 4' of snow it doesn't matter. Side hills are fine but you have to go slow, if you spin you can bury yourself fast. Stability is never an issue because of the extra width the tracks provide.
Not exactly sure on the total lift but I can drive over a 5 gallon bucket standing up so I would say 4-6".
Speed is reduced by 30-40% due to the gear reduction in the tracks, I'd say top speed is around 30-35 but I never really checked it.
The biggest difference from wheels to tracks is steering, tracks can be a bear to steer given the large contact patch of the front tracks. On packed trails and at speed it isn't too bad but slow speeds and deep powder can be a challenge.
