Sportsman 450 Front Axle Clunking
I really appreciate all of the previous inputs I have received concerning my new 2006 Sportsman 450. I've been cleaning this up and getting things running right. I found a new problem today. I am getting a clunking in the front end. I took the wheels off and checked things out. Nothing obvious. When I drive it and do sharp left hand turns or sharp right hand turns, I hear clunking in the front. Also, I got it stuck on a log (no water or mud) and had all four wheels spinning, it started clunking in the front. The wheels were slightly turned, but sharply turned. I jacked it up and started it in the 2x4 wheel mode. Both wheels turned, but if I put my foot on the right front to stop it it did not stop. I did the same for the left front wheel and it slowed, but it also clunked. Is there something in the gears/hub that may be causing this problem that I need to investigate further?
Thanks
Thanks
