They had two there, identical, one was 1199 and the other 1149 - it was explained to me that the cheaper was just mislabeled, and they gave it to me for that price - I spent alot of time calling around for the right deal, and the closest to this one was $2k w/brakes on one axle. I dont really need the brakes so this one worked out great.

Congrats on the new atv's!
I convinced one of my friends to buy an atv (his first) a couple of months ago. He bought a new 800 sportsman and has been ridiculously hooked ever since. Seriously, he rides every day off! He makes me jealous! I guess if I wasn't married I would be able to do that, too! Anyway, he loves the mud and water. We went riding last week and he was floating across a pond! It was crazy! He tried to get me to do it, but there's no way. I explained to him what happens when you suck up water instead of air and he didn't get it, I just got the "deer in the headlights" look! LOL! I couldn't believe how far he went in water I know is deeper than you can stand in. I have been in a very deep hole once and felt my atv float, just leaned back and kept the front end up in the air. It scared the sh** out of my! I mean, 9k worth of atv you know? My point is, it will go plenty deep in water, but be aware of ALL the problems you will have by doing it and all the added maintenance to prevent failure. Wish my buddy luck and hope his atv has a good long life.....he needs it! LOL!

This pic was taken about 6 hours after we went in. At 9:00 am the lake was frozen over - but this section only had about 1-2 inches. We had been on the ice for about a half mile and bam - in we went. I don't like ice any more!
