Snorkel finished!!
#11
ok the we will start with the air box... we cut a bit off the stock snorkle and put a
2 inch to 1 1/2 cupling,,attached to the 1 1/2 end is the cuppling that came with the sump hosing.. put that in there and connected the sump hosing..
the intake for the pvt.. we removed the whole deal.. and put a 1 1/2 to 1 1/2 cuppling on the base of the intake with a 90 ( whatever is at the top of my snorkle) that is 1 1/2 with a 1 1/2 pvc adapter and cut the rim of the sump hose off ( because it had a ribbed edge) and cemented it into the adapter.
the pvt clutch was 2 1/2 to 1 1/2 with another 1 1/2 adapter.. same thing as the intake without the 90...
the sump on all the snorkles goes to the fenders and is connected to a grey flarred fitting with threads on the other end.. the sump hose fits over that secured with a hose clamp.. on the top of the fender is a 1 1/2 threaded adapter... then put another adapter cemented onto that put maybe 7 to 10 inches of 1 1/2 pvc pipe.. with a couple 45 or 90's .. im not a plummer never used the stuff before.. so it was really new to me.. but i gott'er done...
also the grey piece i did not cement because of my oil sump.. so i can take that off to check or fill my oil... they are extreamly tight and i dont think i would have to worry about leakage...
i dont know if this will work for you or not.. but its a start.. im sure your 08 is alot diffrent than mine.. but if it looks the same there you go... hope i wrote it ok.. if you have any questions just ask..
