Default Any issues to consider.......

All,

Would there be any issues to consider having my front 2" lift (HD springs) when if I were to mount my 26" tires back on (tire switch outs) and remove my 27" mudlites at times for heavy rock and tall hill trails?

I am looking for an advantage of better handling with turns and hills. Not sure if having my HD springs still pose as much of rear squattage issue with or without the 27"?

Thx,

R'

My thinking is while the front is not as high my rear tires are smaller, is it the same diff? I think thr stock would run better on rock and gravel but the torment here is that I bought these tires as a trail tire too and their 6-ply.

Opinions?

Thx R'

I put the hilifter springs on the front of my 02 500HO and now I have a major push in the front end. If I get on the power while turning, it goes straight!! I had to crank the rear springs to max, and this helped some. I sure hope that they wear in some, if not they will have to come out for safety sake. My wife rides this quad now that I have the 850.

What can we do to make them better???? They don't make a HD spring from Polaris, for this year of quad, so this is the only way to go. Someone please help us!!! LOL

I don't know? My friend added a lift in the rear from Highlifter to give him a complete even center of gravity and he claims it handles great. I seen him with this big SP800 do steep hill climbs and etc. so it seems true. The downer is all the extra money I got to put out to do it, approx. $600 for the HL A-arms to support the lift or the stocks will break according to him.

Thoughts?
