I need to know where the yellow wire that comes out of my AWD switch is suppose to connect, right now it is connected to the grey wire, it was like this when i bought it, someone didn't know what they where doing i don't think, please help me it's a 98 sportsman 500 thanks

 

so i got a dia out and i dont see your yelloe wire.from the dia you have from the brown into awd lamp then grey out of that into grey of awd switch (joins there with other grey from awd coil)then other side of switch is grey/white off to the gear selector switch on tranny and tee s of to override switch too. so basically from the top from awd coil brn/wht to safety switch then other side of coil grey to the grey for the awd lamp and switch on handle bars.sorry i cant send pics.yellows are for lights they are regulated power ffrom stator to the head lights maybe he borrowed power for the awd?
