Default fan

hi i have a 02 scrambler 400 4x4 i just picked up took it for a ride and it started overheating [light came on ] then i noticed the fan was not working iam trying to find the fuse box if anybody knows where it is get back thanks.

Don't believe it has an actual fuse box, just a fuseable link. If that went out, the bike wouldn't run.

Have you tried just running power directly to the fan? That would at least rule the fan out. If it does run, then I would suspect the the sensor-thermal harness.
