ok i from what i now know the motor is a 88 and the chassis is a 86 the stator plugs from the motor have a 3 way plug with 2 males and a female so does the chassis i have a stator from an 86 motor thats wasted with plug 2 females and a male wires all match shoundn't have a problem splicing correct?

 

when doing a cross refence check on polaris it says that a stator from 86 will fit up to 88. dont know about the plugs though.

 

thanks switched the plugs not getting spark gonna try and figure that 1` out next
