Default 1322555 drive clutch ebs or non ebs?

I replaced the clutch on my old 2000 magnum with a 1322555 clutch. Can this clutch come ebs and non ebs. It doesn not have grooves in the bottom and does not have the plastic washer with notches on it. I bought it online and he said its gotta be ebs. It is for an 06 800 sportsman.

IF it has a plain shaft between clutch sheaths(no moveable sleeve(bearing),then its a NON-EBS clutch.Tell the guy if its a PLAIN clutch, then its GOTTA BE A NON-EBS CLUTCH,and send it back! Unless it was sold stipulating WITHOUT inner one way bearing! Buyer beware on E-bay!!

I dont have clutch #"s at home, but if we order a clutch assy, you get all except counter weights and outer spring for the clutch # you ordered which you can reuse from your old clutch! GOOD question! I"ve never tried to alter clutches, I'm OEM only,BUT maybe some of the other posters have EXPERIMENTED????

You cannot use a EBS primary clutch with the secondary not set up for the EBS. I just went threw this with my 800 sp.

For the year of drive clutch I ordered 06 500 efi or also 800efi 1322555, the corresponding driven clutch says ebs which really confuses me. So if I keep it I have to order what # of secondary to fit on a 2000 magnum. I thought all the new 2006 efis had the ebs, I should have double checked when he thought it was ebs.

After all the back and forth, looked up the clutches and possible he could have sent you the EARLY 07 drive clutch which is basically a non ebs clutch setup,BUT uses an EBS style rear clutch.LATER (8/30/06) and after changed to the conventional type front EBS clutch with one way bearing,BUT is used with the later type roller bushing EBS DRIVEN clutch. Dont know if this helps,BUT I"m tired of looking!!! PS 2000 Magnum offered BOTH style of clutches NON and EBS depending upon options! Good luck

Thanks polaris tech. I appreciate all the effort! So, are you telling me this could still be an ebs clutch without the grooves in the bottom? My belt rides high in the secondary. I have seen people on here suggest the 3211106 with this clutch which is a little longer.

YES!!! could be the Early 07 clutch(before8/30/06) from the 800. Best to check exactly what is offered before you buy!
