Question help idle issue 2007 500sp

Help, my 2007 500sp has 42 hours and 500 miles, have a problem with holding an idle, machine won't hold idle under 1500 rpms, replaced battery and machine worked, took a test ride, fine pulled back in the driveway atv stalled at idle will now not hold idle.

My husband has been looking at it but he is getting frustrated, I can't get the machine to go into diagnostic even when following the directions is there a trick to it?

I think it might be something as simple as the throttle cable but I am just a female who reads the troubleshooting guide first to try to find a solution.

Anyone experience this problem that could offer any insight? The thought of taking it to the dealer and spending $80 an hour for them to diagnose makes me cringe, we think it is something simple and need a place to start. Its sucks that the warranty is so short on these machines,

#2876315 T-bap sensor harness repair kit could be the answer???.Seems like I've replaced a dozen or so on the 07 models,500 and 700 engines(#2875542).. IF you have ruled out throttle slack at thumb throttle(1/16-1/8" slack) plus no codes,IF trying to activate diagnostic codes on speedo,In neutral key on and off, leave on the third time within 5 seconds,SOMETIMES frustrating to get it to work! But most of the time if T-bap harness has a short it wont throw any codes anyway. Symptoms I usually encounter,NO idle,Sputtering at idle, clears a higher speed, dieing at low speeds,Hard starting sometimes. Hubby can install (has directions on kit) Hope this help OPT
