Best replacement belt?
#1
Gotta figure out why my clutch cover has a hole rubbed thru the top, and am going to replace the belt while I'm in there....just wondering what's a good replacement for aggresive riding....its in a stock scrambler 400 4x4...

Myself and all I ride with all say OEM belts. We have tried em all on all makes OEM is the only way to go. Need to find out what caused the hole? Check the intake and exhaust on cluth cover if it was the belt coming apart. Fragments will be everwhere including the exhaust and intake on the clutch cover in and around...... if it was clutch parts check the primary and secondary over good too..Keep us posted. Take care! you get better results(imo)w/ the OEM belts and performance as well. make sure someone did step on the cover and throw it into the cover. some of the older models had covers that would warp and they replaced them w/ newer style which are stronger i beleave. imo
