1998 scrambler chargeing problems

i have a 1998 scrambler 500. my voltage regulator is fryed. will it cause any damage to the bike to drive it with out it?

Front hubs wont lock without enough voltage.

Will ruin the battery , may cause all the bulbs in the head and tail lights to pop.
