Overheating???

It did boil over the other night when I got home. Im going to run the same trail tonight and come home and leave the bike on and let the fan run till it shuts off then Ill shut the bike off and then turn it back on and see if it happens.

Maybe you just need to bleed your coolant system,you may have a air lock in there.

Bleed it? Ive never done that before. lol is there a simple way of doing it? I still hope that the carb isnt the problem, like I said it started after I cleaned it.

Ill try this tonight and if it doesn't work then Im taking the carb back off the bike.

Thanks again guys for all the info!



....if its low can I use reg coolant? or do I have to get Polaris coolant?

Air fuel mixture screw? a guy is telling me maybe I changed that when I cleaned the carb but I dont remember touching it. Can someone tell me what the setting is for that so I can check it?

That screw with the spring on it in the bottom of the carb is the fuel screw, should be set at 2.5 turns out.

Which it wasnt but it is now that I have taken the carb back out, but now I have fuel leaking when I rev it hard, looks like there is a small tit that comes off the bottom of the carb and thats where its coming from...
