Default Ramps for loading 550 XP

I was checking out discountramps.com as it seems as though they have the BEST prices and greatest selection out there. Then I went to ebay and noticed that they were selling out of West Bend, WI which is only about an hour from me, so I am inquiring about a pickup, saving me almost $30 in shipping -- plus the price was $25 cheaper on ebay!! So...what do you guys think if this set?

Dual Atv Ramps - AFP-9012-2
$119 plus shipping

Here's the ebay listing...
NEW 7.5' ARCHED FOLDING ATV RAMPS-TRACTOR/MOWER RAMP-AP - eBay (item 290329484571 end time Aug-05-09 11:19:35 PDT)
$94.99 with potential local pickup??

Look pretty nice. I have the same ones but steel. Could load a tank in my truck with them!

Be careful loading I watched my neighbor load his quad a couple weeks back up he went and then smash he took out the rear window dented the box and cab . He was not a happy camper . He did have a block he thought would stop him but the bike climbed it .

Good point.I made a spacer of sorts out of 2x12's so I couldn't hit the window.I have have a trailer now so I sold my ramps.

Got the ramps. They work awesome...so light, too!

I have a boat-load of pictures I took of it when new...only 15 miles on it right now tooling around at my parents in the country.

I'm just a bit confused about why you have to put something in the bed of the pickup to keep from hitting the back window. Do you go up the ramps too fast? Bad brakes? Short box pickups?
I'm just curious as I've never had that problem myself. I seem to have plenty of room for my XP 850 in my pickup.
