its going in on saturday for the recall and i want to get shock covers put on 2 i was looking on ebay i want to get a set that fits perfect no using zipties lol will these work

I don't mean to bash at all here, just wondering. Why put covers over the shocks? In the Jeeping world it's widely understood that covers just cause more problems than good in the sense that crap gets in under the covers and builds up. Leaving a shock exposed allows it to "self-clean". Most of us refuse to put the rubber boots on that come with them. I'm curious to see if the thinking is different for ATV shocks.
