I just installed my hpd nickel pipe and changed the jets however I forgot to put the nylon spacer on the needle valve. It seems to be running fine however should I put this on and if I don't will it cause me any problems?

Thanks

The nylon washer raises the needle valve about 1/4 of a click position. By not putting it in, your ATV will run leaner during the mid and high rpm ranges than it would if the washer was put in. No one can tell you what settings your ATV will need to run correctly in advance, my mechanic ended up using jets three sizes smaller than Rick at RCR provided with my RCR stage one kit. Nothing against Rick, it's pretty tough to jet an engine via long distance.

Good luck,

my sport 400 with Hpd trail mod kit didnt come with the spacer.
I got the pipe for our 2000 scramber 2x4 7 months later and it did.
check yourself but both your 400 run better without the spacers
