Post tire advice

I'm looking at getting new 27" tires I ride the back of the mountain. Alot of rocks and clay. I have carlisle mud wolfs now and they do good in the mud but not on packed clay any sugestions on a good tire for both. that won't break the bank.

thanks,
Matt

i've heard itp terra cross are good tires but dont know if anything works good on slimmy clay. i work w/ clay alot and it sticks to everything when wet and hard to clean off and hard to grip to it. imo.
