Default Vent line

Ok so my gas tank vent line is cracked and broken in two. So today when I put my windshield back on all I could smell all day was gas.....I need to replace that line I know, but how hard is it to get to it? Looks like I have to take all the plastic off the front of the bike.

Vent line fitting behind the gas cap under the front cab.Plastic has to be lifted or removed to replace new vent tube depending on model.

From what my book says its a real pain to do so. Lots of screws and time just for a vent.
