Default Funny back and forth with a guy selling 30hp chips on eBay

hahaha, couldn't help myself.

So I see his claims on ebay: "Upto 30 hp and 25 ft.lbs of torque!
Upto +5 improvement in mpg!
"

I send him the message: Hi, can you provide dyno sheet proof of a 30hp gain? Also, what is a "+5 improvement"? Is that Dungeons and Dragons lingo? Thanks, Erik

I get: "
hi,youll pick up about 15 horses on a polaris sportsman, actually its +5mpg improvement, that stands for miles per gallon"

Thanks for cluing me in on what MPG means. Oh boy.

'night, Erik

It would be really nice if guys like that did one of two things:

1. Get off their lazy a$$es and get a real job that doesn't involve trying to scam people.

OR

2. If #1 just won't do it for them because they'd rather sit at home scamming people then do the honorable thing and kill themselves.

Seriously, I just talked with a guy today who's Dad almost got ripped off by some jerk on craigslist selling an ATV. Turns out he thought it would be a great way to make some quick cash by selling the same wheeler to three different people. Fortunately, the plan failed and the guy is now sitting in jail. Wishin he would've gotten locked up in the facility I work at so I could spend every day he's there telling him how much of a POS he is!

Dude, 15 horsepower gain! I'm ordering now! I can't wait. I'm sure I'll notice the difference too! Placebo or not, it's a great deal! Who needs dyno sheets when your fellow trustworthy man says so? Oooh, I can't wait.
Cheers,
cc

Agreed! Just talking and sentencing does very little though. The reason these scams continue is because (besides no law enforcement by our government or anyone else) people like this haven't been slapped in the head enough when they do something stupid. Should send a few guys over to rough him up a bit, then this stuff wouldn't happen. But Nooooo, we have to be politically correct and not offend anyone........haha
We're all going to hell.

You including shipping, and/or will your brother-in-law from Nigeria deliver at no charge?

Will I actually make money by purchasing your bridge? How about I give you my bank account number so you can get your money out of your Nigerian/Russian bank and moved into the US?

BTW, are you related to Cheapatv?

***Gotta love the scammers--they provide a good laugh!!
